Ronal is a founding member of the JUMARP cooperative located in the Amazonian Andes of Northern Peru. He has played an influential role in setting goals within the co-op to help improve the quality of life for members while pushing to employ sustainable agricultural practices. Ronal’s standout coffee comes from his farm, El Corazón, is fermented for 15-30 hours, and dried for 10-15 days on raised beds. The drying is dependent on the surrounding environment of Selva Alta’s microclimate—an area of land found in Peru and Mexico generously adorned with dense humid forests. In the cup, this coffee is full of comforting and sweet, sweet ripe fruit characteristics.
This coffee is whole bean and is packaged in a 12 oz bag.
