Golden Honey red tea is aptly named after its distinct honey like sweetness and mouthfeel. It is grown in the Ning’er area within the Yunnan Province in which the Old Type variety is commonly planted; the variety itself is somewhat close to the more widely known Assamica variety. When brewing, this tea is comfort driven—it's thick, insanely sweet, and complemented by a mixture of mellow fruit and rounded maltiness.
