Frequently Asked Questions

Roast Dates & Packaging of Coffee and Tea:

We currently roast twice a week, and our current roast schedule generally falls on Tuesdays and Fridays. Orders placed online will be packaged and shipped in relation to the closest roast date in order to ensure optimal freshness. 

All of our coffees are packaged in 300 gram bags.  Due to our promise of freshness, beans will not be ground for online orders as that significantly cuts down on the shelf life and quality of the coffee. 

 


Shipping & Handling:

The majority of orders are fulfilled and sent out for shipping within 48 hours of online purchase. However, because we roast our coffee after the order is placed, shipping may be delayed until the next roast date. 

Pick up online orders in shop: We understand the comfort and leisure of online shopping and now offer in-shop pick-up. If you would like to place an order online to reserve a product and pick up at our El Cajon Blvd. location, we offer this option on the online check-out page. Shipping fees will not be added. 
 
U.S. Shipping: All of our fulfillment and shipping is completed via USPS Priority Mail due to the nature and size of shipments.  Depending on your location, USPS Priority Mail estimates a 2-3 day delivery window. Some orders may take longer than estimated to arrive at their destination. Tracking information will be sent to customers upon fulfillment. 

International Shipping: Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate regular international shipping of products. If you live abroad and would like to place an order please contact us at orders@coffeeandteacollective.com and we will get back to you with possible options.


Refunds & Returns: 

We do not accept returns or refunds of coffee or teas due to the perishable nature of our products. We want you to be overjoyed and satisfied with your Coffee & Tea Collective experience so if you have any issues with your purchase, please contact orders@coffeeandteacollective.com. 

If products or merchandise have been broken due to shipping and handling, please notify us within 2 days of receiving your order so that we can begin the process of refunding or re-shipping your items. 


Gift Cards & Certificates:

Gift cards are available for in shop use and may be used on coffees, teas, brew merchandise, and apparel. 

Reusable and rechargeable gift cards are available for purchase online and in store.  We will acknowledge and accept our previous 'circle' gift certificates but will void them upon use. Any monetary remainder will be added onto a new gift card and returned to the customer.

Gift cards ordered online will require 48 hours from time of order to activate and fulfill. 

 

Wholesale Inquiries:

The only thing better than serving our customers a splendid cup of coffee, espresso or tea is being able to share that skill with other like-minded businesses.  Serving quality beverages requires more than the bean and machines. It takes high quality roasting, dialed baristas, consistent brew methods, smooth bar flow, and hospitality to create a meaningful and enjoyable experience for customers. We welcome every wholesale account into this journey and offer strategic training to each location that sells and prepares our products. Our goal is to supply you with the tools necessary to produce a quality product as well as the knowledge behind each product you serve.
